The Department of English and Modern Languages was pleased to organize an effective workshop on Academic Writing for English Majors, conducted by Ms. Sabeeha Saleque on 6 May 2026.
Titled The Art of Critical Analysis: Writing, Precision, Insight and Evidence, the session offered a stimulating hands-on exploration of the essential components of crafting effective critical analysis.
The workshop fostered an engaging academic environment, encouraging active participation and allowing students to articulate their perspectives with lucidity and confidence.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Ms. Saleque for facilitating such an insightful and enriching learning experience. We also express our heartfelt thanks to Prof. Dr. Md. Rizwanul Islam, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences; Dr. Nazia Manzoor, Chair and Assistant Professor of the Department of English and Modern Languages; and the other esteemed faculty members of the Department of English and Modern Languages, as well as the PSS members, for their valued presence at the workshop.

Their dedication and passion brought warmth and color to the campus amidst the winter chill, igniting a vibrant spirit through the successful ex*****on of the Winter Fest.
