The agreement was signed by Mr. Kingshuk Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, UCBD, and Mr. Shabab Din Shareq , Founder & CEO of Gentleman’s Wardrobe. The ceremony was attended by Ms. Liza Sharker jui Brand Marketing Manager at Gentleman’s Wardrobe, Mr. Shah Yousha Ahmad , General Manager – Corporate Relations at STS Group, and distinguished representatives from both organisations.
This collaboration marks an important step toward strengthening the connection between academia and industry—creating opportunities for internships, industry engagement, knowledge sharing, career development, and future workforce readiness for UCBD students.

Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD) was delighted to host the highly anticipated “Meet the Experts” event with a distinguished delegation from Monash, bringing world-class academic expertise and global opportunities directly to Dhaka. The event provided an inspiring platform for current students, prospective students, external guests, faculty members, and UCBD officials to engage in insightful discussions and exclusive one-to-one counselling sessions with leading Monash representatives. We extend our sincere appreciation to Alphonsa Fidelis Pakiam, Head, South Asia and Western Europe; Daniel Lum, Senior Executive, International Recruitment & Development; Asha Balaji, Recruitment and Partnerships Specialist, Subcontinent; Justin Burnell, Student Recruitment Manager (International), Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences; and Azra Karim, In Country Manager, Bangladesh, International Marketing & Recruitment (IMAR) for sharing their valuable expertise, guidance, and insights with our students and guests. To commemorate this landmark visit, Mr. Kingshuk Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD), and Prof. Muhammad Ismail Hossain, Provost, Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD), proudly presented official UCBD souvenirs to the visiting delegation as a gesture of appreciation. With meaningful conversations, expert guidance, and exciting possibilities for international education, the event reaffirmed UCBD’s commitment to connecting students with world-class academic pathways and empowering them to shape a truly global future.

On 15 August 2026, students from Adroit International School Dhaka visited Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD) for an exciting campus tour, accompanied by their Principal, Mr. Waqar Ahmed, and Vice Principal, Ms. Yafa Rahman.
The students took part in an engaging session exploring UCBD’s international degree offerings with Monash University (Australia & Malaysia), the University of London – London School of Economics, and the University of Lancashire, UK—giving students the opportunity to pursue globally recognised degrees right here in Gulshan-1, Dhaka. 🌍🎓
The session was followed by an interactive Q&A, where students had the opportunity to learn more and get their questions answered.
The visit continued with a tour of the UCBD library, classrooms, and labs, followed by some fun and relaxed moments at the student lounge. 📚🔬✨
