||Preposition |||(Of, To & For)এর ব্যবহার নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা।

___Of___

★★★সাধারণত কোন কিছুর অধিকারে/ মালিকানাধীন বুঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয় Of,,,,, যার অর্থ সাধারণত (র,এর) হয়। আর এই মালিকানা হতে পারে কোন ব্যক্তি, বস্তু বা প্রাণীর।

★★★কোন কিছুর কারনে বোঝাতেও of ব্যবহার করা হয়। যেমন:
= Rahim died of Cancer.
= Anika died of Corona Virus.

★★★যেমন:
=The people of_ Argentina/ Brazil. মানে হল আর্জেন্টিনা/ব্রাজিলের জনগণ। লক্ষ্য করুন Of টা বসেছে দেশের নামের আগে। মানে জনগণ গুলো আর্জেন্টিনার_ বা ব্রাজিলের_। আবারও যদি বলি,,,
=He is a fan of_ Messi (সে মেসির_ ভক্ত)।
=The book is of my sister's.( বইটি আমার বোনের_।) প্রতিটি বাক্যে কার দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে র/এর রয়েছে উত্তরে।

★★কোনো কিছুর উৎপত্তিস্থল বোঝাতেও of বসে।যেমন:

= Rabindranath Tagore came of a noble family.

=Mandala came of a native South African clan.

# # এছাড়া একটা কথা মনে রাখবে সবসময়,,, Noun+of+Noun বসে। অর্থাৎ,,, preposition এর শূন্যস্থানের দুপাশে যদি দুটো Noun থাকে,,,,,,, তাহলে নির্দিধায় শূন্যস্থানে of বসবে।যেমন:
= City of_ Dhaka.
= District of Khulna.
= Table of Content.
= Principal of MC College.
= Depertment of English. etc.

# # এছাড়াও এই Noun গুলোর পর Preposition "of" বসে।

(Abhorrence, assurance, charge, distrust, doubt, experience, failure, observance, proof, result & want.)

★★★সাধারণত বাংলা বাক্যে (এ,তে বা প্রতি) থাকলে ইংরেজি Sentence এ to ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন:
= I'm here to give your answer.

★★কোন নির্দিষ্ট দিকে বা দিক নির্দেশনা বুঝাতে to ব্যবহার হয়। যেমন:
= He goes to school everyday.
= I am going to Shylhet.

★★১ম Sentence, তোমার প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিতে_ আমি আছি। এখানে, তে অর্থে to ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। ২য় বাক্যে, সে স্কুলে_ (এ) যায়। কলেজে যাওয়ার পূর্বে অবশ্যই তার যাওয়ার উদ্দেশ্য কলেজের দিকে থাকে তাই, School এর পূর্বে to ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

★★★ কোন সীমানা পর্যন্ত বোঝাতেও to বসে। যেমন:

=I want to drink life to_ the less.

= Fight to_ the end.
= Wait to the end.

★★★ কাউকে উদ্দেশ্য করে বা কারো প্রতি কোন দায়িত্ব বা যে কোনো কিছুর নির্দেশ করা বোঝাতে to ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন:

= Take my affectionate love to you.

= Convey my salam to your parents.

= Invite your friends to the party.

= Write a letter to your friend.

= Pay regards to your parents.

= Pray to your God etc.

★★★পরিণতি বা পরিণাম বোঝাতে ও to ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন:

= Socrates was sentenced to death.

= The culprit sentenced to the Jail.

= Smoking is injurious to_ health.

★★★কোনকিছুর অনুপাত বোঝাতে To বসে। যেমন:

= Thousands to one usually dare to_ meet success.
= Hundred to_ Ten was present.

# # এছাড়াও এই Noun গুলোর পর preposition "to" বসে।

★★★সময়ের আগে ধরে / যাবৎ / ব্যাপিয়া বুঝাইতে for বসে।
যেমনঃ
=It has been raining for two hours.

★★★Sentence এ-কিছুর জন্য বুঝাইতে for বসে। যেমনঃ

=What can I do for_ you?
=What are you looking for_?
= Work hard for_ a better life.
= Give your best for a successful career.

★★★সাহায্য অর্থে বুঝাইতে for বসে।যেমনঃ

=Would you please do it for me?
= Would you please

★★★কারন বুঝাইতে for বসে। যেমনঃ

= I could not go to college/University for_ my illness.

= I am going to pharmacy to bring some medicine for_ my grandmother.

★★★সমর্থন বুঝাইতে for বসে। যেমনঃ

=Are you ready for the proposal?

= I will not speak a sentence for you.

★★★মূল্য বুঝাইতে for বসে।
যেমনঃ

=Bought this pen for 20 taka.

= Fillup the registration form for 2000 TK.

★★★বিনিময় বুঝাইতে for বসে। যেমনঃ
= Della sold her heir for twenty dollars.

★★★ কোনকিছু মনে করেছি যে এমন হবে বোঝাতে for বসে।
যেমন:

= I took him for a good man.
= I took Robi as a learned man.

# # নিচের শব্দ গুলোর পর For বসে।
