আজ বিশ্ব “আবহাওয়া দিবস (World Meteorological Day)” । ১৯৫০ সালের ২৩ শে মার্চ World Meteorological Organization প্রতিষ্ঠা হয়। প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবসটিকে স্মরনীয় করে রাখার জন্য সংগঠনটি প্রতিবছর বিশ্ব আবহাওয়া দিবসের জন্য একটি স্লোগান ঘোষণা করে সদস্য দেশগুলিতে “আবহাওয়া দিবস (World Meteorological Day)” উদযাপন করে। এ বছরের প্রতিপাদ্য বিষয় “Count Every Drop, Every Drop Counts” । পানির প্রতি সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিই আলোচ্য স্লোগানের মূল উদ্দেশ্য।
জীবনের জন্য পানি অত্যাবশ্যক। একজন মানুষ পানি ছাড়া তিন দিনের বেশি বেঁচে থাকতে পারে না। আমাদের দৈনন্দিন জীবনের জন্য পানি অত্যাবশ্যকীয়। আসুন জীবনের জন্য, নিজের প্রয়োজনে “সৃষ্টিকর্তার অফুরন্ত উপহার” কে রক্ষার উদ্যোগ গ্রহন করি।
