Empowering Educators Across Gazipur, Narsingdi & Savar

Strong classrooms begin with empowered teachers. As part of our nationwide Teacher Professional Development (TPD) initiative, Alokito Teachers continues its journey as the Training Partner of Khan Academy Bangladesh and SAJIDA Foundation to support educators across Bangladesh.

Our Phase 4 session in Gazipur brought together 32 secondary school teachers, 16 headmasters, and 3 government education officials from Gazipur, Narsingdi, and Savar for a day of learning, collaboration, and reflection.

The session focused on helping educators:

• Make effective use of the Khan Academy Bangladesh platform in their classrooms
• Strengthen student-centered teaching practices
• Build digital literacy and integrate technology into learning
• Reflect on classroom practices through observation and ongoing support

Beyond introducing new tools and strategies, the session created an opportunity for educators and education stakeholders to share experiences, explore challenges, and think together about how we can create better learning experiences for students.

As we continue this nationwide initiative, each session brings us one step closer to building more engaging, inclusive, and student-centered classrooms across Bangladesh.

Together, we’re strengthening teachers, transforming classrooms, and shaping a better future for learning.

Strengthening Teachers, Transforming Classrooms in Panchagarh!

Alokito Teachers is proud to serve as the Training Partner of Khan Academy Bangladesh and SAJIDA Foundation, working together to strengthen teaching and learning across Bangladesh.

Through this nationwide Teacher Professional Development (TPD) initiative, educators are being supported to:

Our Panchagarh session brought together 41 secondary school teachers, 21 school heads, and 4 government education officials—creating a valuable space for educators and education stakeholders to learn, collaborate, and reflect on better ways to support students.

With practical skills, technology-enabled approaches, and ongoing support, we are working toward classrooms that are more engaging, inclusive, and student-centered.

This is one step in a larger nationwide effort to empower educators, improve student learning, and prepare Bangladesh’s classrooms for the future.

Together, we move forward toward stronger teachers, better classrooms, and brighter learning outcomes.
