In Islam, the five daily obligatory prayers (Salah) are a core pillar of faith.

They are performed at specific times from dawn to nightfall:
Fajr: Dawn
Dhuhr: Midday
Asr: Late afternoon
Maghrib: Just after sunset
Isha: Night

Each prayer consists of a specific number of units called Rak'ah and is performed at designated times of the day.

Fajr: 2 Rak'ah Sunnat & 2 Rak'ah Farz
Dhuhr: 4 Rak'ah Sunnat, 4 Rak'ah Farz & 2 Rak'ah Sunnat
Asr: 4 Rak'ah Sunnat & 4 Rak'ah Farz
Maghrib: 3 Rak'ah Farz & 2 Rak'ah Sunnat
Isha: 4 Rak'ah Sunnat, 4 Rak'ah Farz, 2 Rak'ah Sunnat & 3 Rak'ah Witr

The 5 Pillars of Islam:

1) Shahadah - Declaration of faith in Allah, testifying there is no God but Allah & Prophet Muhammad is his messenger.

2) Salah (Prayer) - Performing the five mandatory daily prayers at specific times.

3) Zakat (Charity) - Giving 2.5% of accumulated wealth annually to charity.

4) Sawm (Fasting) - Fasting from dawn until sunset during the month of Ramadan.

5) Hajj (Pilgrimage) - Performing pilgrimage to Mecca once if physically and financially able.
