The Housing Design Studio for the Fall 2025 Semester,Department of Architecture has been successfully completed, with inspiring ideas and thoughtful design outcomes. Projects developed this term reveal strengthened design clarity and an expanded grasp of housing within contemporary architectural practice.

Berger Paints Bangladesh proudly presents the 2nd Edition of the Berger Award for Interior Design (BAID) 2025, celebrating innovation, creativity, and excellence in interior design across Bangladesh.

As part of its ongoing commitment for recognizing the creative works of architects and interior designers, Berger Award for Interior Design (BAID) was first introduced in 2023. This year, with the 2nd edition of the program, we are continuing the mission to foster excellence in interior design by recognizing and uplifting talents in the field of Interior Design – offering an inclusive platform for certified architects, professional interior designers, artists, and self-taught creatives.

We will be taking submissions in two categories:
1. Professional: For participants with academic or professional certification or training in design-related disciplines such as architecture, interior design, fine arts, or visual arts.
2. Amateur: For self-taught designers without formal design certification. (Professionally certified individuals are not eligible for this category.)

Participation at the 16th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad – 2025

The World University of Bangladesh proudly participated in the 16th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad – 2025 (Dhaka North Region), organized by Daffodil International University in collaboration with the A. F. Mujibur Rahman Foundation – Bangladesh Mathematical Society.

Held on 21 November 2025, the event brought together students from over fifteen universities, showcasing their mathematical skills and passion for academic excellence.

A special appreciation goes to Fahima Akhter from the Architecture Department, whose active participation represented WUB with pride.

Exploring Ergonomics in Architecture.

It gives us great pleasure to welcome Ms. Labanya Prova Biswas as a lecturer in the Department of Architecture at WUB.

She achieved her Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from Khulna University, where she is now pursuing her Master of Architecture (M.Arch) to further her knowledge in the field. We wish her success as she takes on this new chapter in her academic journey. 🎉
