Another Milestone for the Department of 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐓𝐌𝐃𝐌)!

We are delighted to announce that three groundbreaking research works from our department have been accepted at the prestigious 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐍𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐒), organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, BUET. These peer-reviewed papers, indexed by DBLP, will be published by the renowned 𝐀𝐂𝐌 (𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐲, 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐍𝐘, 𝐔𝐒𝐀).

The 2 full papers, a short paper, and a poster will be presented at the conference on 𝟐𝟎-𝟐𝟏 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒.

𝟑. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐔𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬

These impactful studies were carried out by the final-year students of the 45th batch: Pritom Goswami, Md Asadul Islam, Md. Washiur Rahman, Tafannum Mahjabeen, Asef Rahman Dipto, Md Shahriar Istiaqe. These works were supervised by our Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Shaikh Md Mominul Alam (Dalim). Two mentors from the 44th batch, Avishek Das Gupta and Md Harunur Rashid Bhuiyan, also played an instrumental role.

The research works were guided by our dedicated faculty members: Tarik Reza Toha, Anupom Mondol, Sultana Umme Habiba and Prof Dr. Shaikh Md Mominul Alam.

This achievement adds to the department's previous impressive track record of excellence, including several awards for posters and papers, participation in ITMA (Italy), and the ICT Award for outstanding contributions to textile machinery and system optimization.
