বাংলাদেশের ১৯টি উপকূলীয় জেলার তরুণদের মধ্যে জলবায়ু নেতৃত্বের দক্ষতা গড়ে তুলতে C3ER, BRAC University এবং Greenman প্রথমবারের মতো আয়োজন করছে Coastal Youth Fellowship 2026।

জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের প্রভাব সবার আগে অনুভব করে উপকূলীয় জনগোষ্ঠী। আর এসব এলাকার তরুণ-তরুণীরা প্রায়ই নিজেদের পরিবার ও সমাজকে নানা জলবায়ু সংকট মোকাবিলা, পরিবর্তিত পরিস্থিতির সঙ্গে মানিয়ে নেওয়া এবং ঘুরে দাঁড়াতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখে। সেই বাস্তবতাকে সামনে রেখেই তাদের দক্ষতা উন্নয়নে এই ফেলোশিপের আয়োজন।

এই ফেলোশিপের মাধ্যমে তরুণরা জলবায়ু ও পরিবেশ নিয়ে শেখার, দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলের তরুণদের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হওয়ার, নিজেদের নেতৃত্বের দক্ষতা বাড়ানোর এবং অর্জিত জ্ঞান ও দক্ষতা নিজ নিজ এলাকায় কাজে লাগানোর সুযোগ পাবে।

The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) is organising CPD Climate Week 2026 from 3–7 October 2026, featuring two national-level student competitions on 6–7 October.

🔹 1. Climate Olympiad

Individual Competition

Put your climate knowledge to the test! The Olympiad will cover:

🌍 Global, regional & national climate governance
💡 Adaptation & mitigation
💰 Climate economics
🔬 Technological innovations

🔹 2. Climate Policy Case Competition

Three Minutes to Rethink Climate Solutions | Team Competition

Form a team of 3 members and develop practical, locally relevant solutions inspired by global best practices. Selected teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of experts and policymakers.

📌 The case for the first round will be shared with registered participants after the registration deadline.
