"Differentiation is a skill. Integration is an art."

Integration is the mathematical process of finding accumulation. It allows us to sum up infinitely many tiny quantities to determine a total quantity, such as area, volume, work etc.

The idea of integration was derived by the ancient problem of finding areas and volumes of irregular shapes. Early greek mathematicians, especially Archimedes, found the idea of calculating areas by dividing shapes into smaller parts. Centuries later, these ideas evolved integration by the hands of leibniz and newton in the 17th century.

Can we specify limit for anything? In our day to day life we see objects,substances and any other particles each are consisted of various atoms or molecules. These molecules or atoms does not define certain limit and end up to 'infinity'. 'Infinity' is a term that is used in mathematics to values that are limitless and in physics to magnitude of substances that are infinite. This theory of infinity is still a question for us. The space also has an enclosure for infinity. Let's celebrate,this day as infinity day to celebrate the beauty of curiosity,knowledge and imagination. In mathematics, infinity inspires us to think beyond the finite. Every great discovery begins with a question, and every answer leads to countless more. May our passion for mathematics continue to grow without bounds, just like infinity itself. Wishing everyone a thoughtful and inspiring Infinity Day!

On 4th August 2026, 𝐁𝐀𝐅 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 conducted an wonderful session on "Number Wizard" for the students of class 3-5(Bangla Version) on 4 August 2026 in room number 4202.

The session was led by 𝐀𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐞, our 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐝. He presented his educational lectures in a fascinating way creating an interactive, fun and productive learning environment. Special thanks to our 𝐂𝐨-𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐢 𝐀𝐤𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐫 for his contribution in organizing the session.

𝐁𝐀𝐅 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 extends its sincere appreciation to all the attendees for their participation in making the session meaningful and lively. The club aims to arrange more curiosity-driven and impactful sessions in the coming days.

২০২৪ সালের জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানের সূচনা হয় সরকারি চাকরিতে কোটা ব্যবস্থার সংস্কারের দাবিতে শিক্ষার্থীদের আন্দোলনের মাধ্যমে। পরবর্তীতে এটি ন্যায়বিচার, জবাবদিহিতা, গণতন্ত্র ও সুশাসনের দাবিতে একটি সর্বজনীন গণআন্দোলনে রূপ নেয়। দেশের সর্বস্তরের মানুষের অংশগ্রহণে আন্দোলনটি দ্রুত সারা দেশে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। ১৪ জুলাই থেকে ৫ আগস্ট পর্যন্ত চলা এই আন্দোলনে বহু মানুষ নিহত ও আহত হন। অবশেষে ৫ আগস্ট, যা জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানের তাৎপর্য স্মরণে অনেকের কাছে ‘৩৬ জুলাই’ নামে পরিচিত, ‘লং মার্চ টু ঢাকা’ কর্মসূচির প্রেক্ষাপটে প্রধানমন্ত্রী পদত্যাগ করেন এবং একটি অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন সরকার গঠিত হয়, যার মধ্য দিয়ে মানুষ এক নতুন বাংলাদেশের সপ্ন দেখে।

বাংলাদেশের সমসাময়িক ইতিহাসে জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থান এক যুগান্তকারী অধ্যায়। এটি প্রমাণ করেছে যে তরুণদের নেতৃত্বে সংঘবদ্ধ জনআন্দোলন ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তনের শক্তিশালী মাধ্যম হতে পারে। নতুন বাংলাদেশ গড়ার পথে এই গণঅভ্যুত্থান আগামী প্রজন্মের জন্য অনুপ্রেরণার উৎস হয়ে থাকবে এবং মানবাধিকার, গণতান্ত্রিক মূল্যবোধ, সুশাসন ও রাজনৈতিক সংস্কার নিয়ে নতুন করে জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক আলোচনা সৃষ্টি করেছে।

আজকের দিনে বিএএফ শাহীন কলেজ ঢাকা গণিত সংঘ জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানে ভূমিকা রাখা সকল প্রতিবাদীর সাহস ও আত্মত্যাগের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা জানায়, এবং সকল শহিদের আত্মার শান্তি কামনা করে। আমরা আরও বিশেষভাবে স্মরণ করি আমাদের কলেজের গৌরব বীর শহিদ শফিক উদ্দিন আহমেদ আহনাফ-এর আত্মত্যাগের কথা।
