BD TEFL is going to nominate some participants (intended English teachers and new English teachers) to attend the 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗟 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮3 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 to be hosted virtually from 24 to 35 October, 2023 𝗯𝘆 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗟 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗨𝗦𝗔. The attendance fees of the nominated participants by BD TEFL will be sponsored by the American Center, US Embassy, Dhaka. In addition, the nominated participants will enjoy 1-year global membership of TESOL International Association, one of the largest TA (Teacher Association) in this earth. If any candidate has already been a global membership, it will be extended by 1 year.

This is an excellent opportunity for Bangladeshi new English teachers (𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 with no more than 5 years of teaching experience) or intended English teachers for improving their ELT professional skills and expertise.

BD TEFL is going to offer the series of 6 webinars on new national curriculum for English. The series particularly focus on Competency-Based Curriculum applied in English subject for Grade 6 and 7 in accordance with National Curriculum Framework 2021. The titles of webinar topics and sub-topics are in the following.

1. Introducing New Curriculum for English
- Experiential Learning Approach (ELA)
- English Subject Conceptualization
- Communicative Approach and ELA: compare and contrast

2. Competency-Based Curriculum for English: How to achieve competencies
- What competencies mean
