I asked him the age!

Then he said, Allah Ta'ala did not create anything without a reason, there is some greatness hidden in all His creation.

When you start eating by saying 'Bismillah', Allah Ta'ala removes all the harmful things from eating. Always say 'Bismillah' before eating and be grateful to your Creator.

When you have finished eating, raise your hand and give thanks to Allah Ta'ala. You will never get sick.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I listened to him. As I was about to leave, he took my hand and said: Listen to the last word of food.

I sat down again. He said that if you sit down to eat with someone, never put food in your mouth before, no matter how hungry you are, let the other person take the food or give the other person first. Let that person start eating, then you start.

I was embarrassed to ask the reason, but he said to me, 'This is a gift of food for you, and Allah will be pleased with you that you cared for His creation.' Always remember, food is for your body and Bismillah is for your soul. Now tell me how can you get sick?

I kept thinking that we don't pay attention to the small things that our religion says, we avoid them and we don't even teach these things to our children !!
