Finally the official announcement of the 2017-18 undergraduate admission test from BUET is out:

The O Levels & A Levels requirement stays the same:

⭕ The participant MUST have sat for his O Levels after November 2013 and A levels after November 2016.

⭕ Minimum 5 B's in O levels (with minimum B grade in - Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and another subject) and minimum 3A's in A Levels (including Physics, Chemistry and Math).

⭕ After admission if anybody wants to enroll in the Biomedical Engineering Department (BME) he/she must have a minimum 'B' in A-Level Biology.

⭕ All English Medium background students (O & A levels) will be allowed to sit for the admission test if he/she meets the eligibility criteria mentioned above. (no initial elimination or filtration!)

⭕ The exam will be held on 14th October 2017.

Criteria and minimum requirements for English Medium students interested for BUET admission test in 2015:
►O levels not older than Nov 2011 and A levels not older than Nov 2014.
►Minimum B grade in minimum 5 subj of O levels (including Phy, Chem, Math and Eng)
►Minimum A grade in Phy, Chem and Math in A levels.

PS. - No MCQ questions this time.
1030 seats in total. 8500 candidates will be eligible for taking the test. Admission test is on 17th October 2015.
►Online application starts from 30th Aug, 10 AM. Ends on 9th Sept, 4.30 PM
