3D Printing for Rapid Prototyping — A Hands-On Workshop
FAB Lab DIU invites all DIU students to a four-session workshop on 3D printing and rapid prototyping. Designed for complete beginners, the workshop guides participants through the entire process — from designing an idea to holding a finished, 3D-printed prototype they made themselves. No prior design or modelling experience is required.
Participants will learn to design in Adobe Illustrator, convert designs into 3D models using Tinkercad or AI-based tools (Meshy / Tripo), and prepare, slice, and print their work using Bambu Studio.
Workflow: Illustrator → Tinkercad → AI 3D → Bambu Studio → Print
