We are deeply saddened and outraged by the horrific violence faced by Ramisa. This is not just one isolated incident,it reflects the ongoing insecurity and injustice that women continue to face every day.
As a debate club, we stand against all forms of sexual violence and victim-blaming. We demand fair investigation, proper punishment for the perpetrators, and justice without delay. Silence can never bring change; raising our voices can.
Enough is enough. Women deserve safety, dignity, and justice.

Debate is a battle of logic, where arguments build and rebuttals break.
Argumentation and Rebuttal are the core pillars that define a winning case in parliamentary debate. Argumentation helps you build structured, logical, and impactful points, while rebuttal empowers you to dismantle opposing claims and defend your ground under pressure. Without these skills, even the strongest ideas can fall flat.
To sharpen this essential skill, BBDS is arranging a session on “Argumentation and Rebuttal”, conducted by the General Secretary of DUDS, Ragib Anjum.

Under the first light of dawn, while the world is still quiet, the real architects of society are already in motion.
May Day is not just a date, it is a tribute to the unseen strength that powers every street, every system, and every success we often take for granted. Its origin goes back to the 1886 Chicago labour struggle for an 8-hour workday, a turning point in workers’ rights history.
Today, we stand in respect and gratitude for all workers whose effort keeps the world alive and moving forward.
Happy International Workers’ Day!

Mastering the basics of parliamentary debate is the first step toward effective reasoning. It builds logical thinking, structured argumentation, and effective communication. It helps develop the ability to view issues from multiple perspectives and express ideas clearly.
With this aim, on 20th April, we organized an enriching session on “Basics of Asian Parliamentary Debate” for our freshers. The session was conducted by Nazmun Naher, Debate Affairs Secretary of BBDS.
The session was truly insightful and engaging. It was a meaningful step toward shaping more confident speakers and sharper thinkers in the realm of parliamentary debate.
