Dear Future Researchers,
DBA is pleased to inform you that the 1st Business Research Symposium (BRS) is going to be held very soon. Therefore, the BRS Committee is offering an opportunity to all the interested students to get registered as soon as possible.
To get registered, you are requested to form a group of 2-3 members and submit your research topic along with the following information to Mr Imroz Mahmud (Assistant Professor, DBA) at [email protected] by February 25, 2022.
Your submission should include the following:
# A cover page with the title of your research, the name of the group, and the names and registration numbers of group members,
# The objective of your research, and
# Methodology in brief.

P.S. The teams that have already registered in the last semester don’t need to register again.

DBA has successfully organized the 6th workshop (under the 1st Business Research Symposium) titled “How to Write a Research Article (Part-2)” on 6th July 2021.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Mahbubul Haque, Associate Professor & Head, DBA, UAP. The workshop primarily focused on how to write an introduction, literature review, and methodology for both qualitative and quantitative research.

The workshop was immensely beneficial for the students who will take part in the research competition. A digital certificate of participation will be awarded to each participant.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Imroz Mahmud, Assistant Professor (DBA, UAP) and Convener of the Symposium.

The workshop was jointly organized by three faculty members of DBA, UAP: Mr. Imroz Mahmud (Assistant Professor), Mr. Ahmed Tausif Saad (Lecturer), and Mr. Raihan Sobhan (Lecturer).

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Mahbubul Haque, Associate Professor & Head, DBA, UAP. The workshop primarily focused on how to write an introduction and literature review of a research paper. In the following workshop(s), the rest of the parts of a standard research article will be covered.

We're going to arrange another Workshop on How to Write a Research Article (Part-1). The workshop aims to familiarize students with three key parts of any research paper: Introduction, Literature Review, and Methodology.
The workshop will be held on 27th June 2021 (Sunday), at 11 am.

Dr. Mahbubul Haque, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Business Administration (DBA), University of Asia Pacific (UAP), will conduct the workshop.

DBA has successfully organized the fourth workshop (under the 1st Business Research Symposium) titled “Time Series Analysis” on June 7, 2021.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Md Fouad Bin Amin. Dr. Amin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, and a researcher at the Islamic Banking Center, College of Business Administration, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The workshop was organized by three faculty members of DBA, UAP: Mr. Imroz Mahmud (Assistant Professor), Mr. Ahmed Tausif Saad (Lecturer), and Mr. Raihan Sobhan (Lecturer).

A total of 50 participants, including students and faculty members, attended the virtual event. The workshop was immensely beneficial for the students as well as the faculty members.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by the honourable Head of DBA, Dr. Mahbubul Haque.
