🔹Causative Verb (প্রযোজক ক্রিয়া)
Subject যখন নিজে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করিয়ে নেয় এ অর্থে Causative verb ব্যবহৃত হয়।
He eats rice.
He feeds the baby rice.
প্রথম বাক্যে সে নিজে খায়, দ্বিতীয় বাক্যে সে শিশুকে খাওয়ায়। Feed প্রজোযক ক্রিয়া (Causative Verb)
🔹Have, Get, Make, Let, Help দিয়ে অন্য verb কে Causative Verb-এ পরিণত করা যায়।
I have my assignment done. (May be by your juniors)
He made me do the job.
🔹Have
Subject + have* + complement** + verb এর base form.
*have = যেকোন tense এই হতে পারে
**Complement= সাধারণত ব্যাক্তিবাচক
উদাহরণ দিয়ে ক্লিয়ার হই চলুন-
I have my friend do the work.
I am having my friend do the work.
I have had my friend do the work.
🔹Get
Have এর মতই সব পার্থক্য শুধু complement এর পরে Infinitive হবে।
Subject + get + complement + infinitive
I get my friend to do the work.
I am getting my friend to do the work.
🔹দেখুন খেয়াল করে Have/Get এর পরে 'ব্যাক্তিবাচক' শব্দ বসছে। বস্তুবাচক কি বসতে পারেনা? অবশ্যই পারে। সেক্ষেত্রে Structure এ একটু পরিবর্তন হবে।
Subject + Have/Get* + Complement (বস্তুবাচক) + verb এর Past participle
*Have/Get যেকোন Tense এই হতে পারে।
I have/get my work done.
I had/got my work done.
তবে কিছু ''Exception" হয়।
যেমন- She have/gets her husband arrested.
এখানে কিন্তু verb এর Past Participle বসছে আবার have/get এর পরে ব্যাক্তিবাচক (her husband)
🔹Make
Have/Get যে অর্থ প্রকাশ করে Make ঐ একই অর্থ প্রকাশ করে, পার্থক্য হলো Make এর অর্থ প্রকাশ Have/Get থেকে জোরালো।
উদাহরণ দেখলেই বুঝতে পারবেন। Structure টা দেখে নেই আগে।
▪️Subject + make* + complement + verb এর base form
*make= যেকোন tense হতে পারে।
The wife makes her husband be quiet.
The wife made her husband be quiet.
বোঝাই যাচ্ছে Forcefully ''Quiet" করানো হয়েছে।
বি. দ্র. Make এর বদলে Force ও বসানো যায়। তবে সেক্ষেত্রে complement এর পরে 'Infinitive' বসবে। যেমন-
The wife forced her husband to be quiet.
🔹Let
Let দিয়ে বোঝায় ''Permit / Allow"
Structure টা দেখুন-
▪️Subject + let + complement + verb এর base form
Abid let his wife use his Facebook Id.
বি. দ্র. let এর বদলে Permit / Allow বসানো যায়। তবে সেক্ষেত্রে complement এর পরে 'Infinitive' হবে। যেমন-
Abid allow/permit his wife to use his Facebook ID.
🔹Help
Help means 'assist'
বাক্যে কীভাবে বসবে দেখে নেই
▪️Subject + help* + complement + verb এর base form / Infinitive
*help = যেকোন tense হতে পারে।
উদাহরণ-
My brother helped me do
my homework or to do my work.
এবার নিজেকে একটু যাচাই করে দেখুনতো-
1. The teacher made his students ------ (understand) the lecture.
2. My father got our house ------- (repair).
3. He had me ------ (understand) the sum.
4. I help my mother ------ (wash) the dishes.
5. The policeman let the suspect ------ (make) one phone call.
