During his last visit, we had the privilege of receiving our certificates from Grand Master Kazi Qais, the founder of Black Belt Academy.

For me, it was more than a formal moment — it was a deeply emotional reminder of a journey that began back in 1993. Black Belt Academy was not just a place to train; it was a second family where lifelong friendships, memories, discipline, and values were built over decades.

Many of the principles and spirit that we carry forward today at Shuhari Academy were shaped during those years. The sense of respect, unity, loyalty, and family that we try to build within our students comes from the foundation laid by the people and experiences of that time.

Though our paths may have gone in different directions over the years, my respect and gratitude for Grand Master Kazi Qais and the Black Belt Academy family remain unchanged. Receiving this recognition from him during his final visit was truly an honor and a moment I will always cherish.
