Today, my student Jawad Asjad was honored for completing the memorization of the Holy Quran (Hifz). Not only was he awarded a crest, but his parents were also honored for their support and dedication.
For a student studying in an English-medium institution, memorizing the entire Quran is truly a great challenge—rather, it is a remarkable achievement. Yet, by the mercy of Allah, he successfully completed his Hifz journey.
This achievement clearly proves one important thing: if a person has sincere intention, determination, and consistent hard work, then memorizing the Quran is possible regardless of where they study. It also breaks the common misconception that students of English-medium backgrounds cannot properly study or memorize the Quran.
In fact, an English-medium student can also become a Hafiz of the Quran with dedication, discipline, and the help of Allah.
May Allah bless Jawad Asjad, accept his efforts, and make the Quran a source of guidance and success in his life. Ameen.
