It is the key to success. The true happiness and prosperity of a man entirely depends on it. It ennobles one's character and gives one a high position in society. The man who has acquired this quality is respected by all. On the contrary, the man who has lost this quality is hated by all. By dint of patriotism all can shine in life. Many persons in the world become great by virtue of this quality. Patriotism may lead the whole world to peace and prosperity. It is an important element and successive assort of human life. It inspires everyone to go ahead. All religions teach us to form this quality because it is the glory of life. So, all of us should form this habit for the progress and prosperity of life.
অনুবাদঃ যে মানুষ নিজের দেশকে বড়বেশিভালো বাসে সে দেশ প্রেমিক। একজন দেশপ্রেমিক মানুষ সবযায়গায় সম্মানিত হয়। সে জীবনে উন্নতি করতে পারে। মানুষের জীবনের অনেকগুলো বড়গুনের মধ্যে দেশপ্রেম একটা প্রধান গুন। মানুষের সুখ শান্তি আর অগ্রগতি এই গুনের উপর পুরাপুরি নিরভর করে। ইহা মানুষের চরিত্র গঠনে সাহায্য করে এবং মানুষকে সমাজের অতি উচ্চ আসনে অধিষ্ঠিত করে। যে মানুষটা এই গুন অরজন করেছে সে সব যায়গায় সম্মানিত হয়। অপর পক্ষে যে মানুষটা এই গুন জীবন থেকে হারিয়ে ফেলেছে সে সব যায়গায় অপমানিত হয়। দেশপ্রেম দারা সবাই জীবনে উন্নতি করতে পারে। এই গুনের চরচার দারা অনেক মানুষ পৃথীবিতে মহৎ হয়েছে। দেশপ্রেম ই পারে সারা পৃথিবীকে শান্তি আর উন্নতির পথে পরিচালিত করতে। সবধরমই আমাদেরকে শিক্ষাদেয়—তোমরা নিজের জীবনে এই গুনটা গঠন কর কারন ইহা জীনের একটা গৌরবময় গুন। এই গুনটা সবাইকে সামনের দিকে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য অনুপ্রানিত করে। এই গুনটা হচ্ছে—মানুষের জীবনের একটা গুরুত্বপুরনো গুন এবং সফলকামী উপাদান। তাই, উন্নতি আর অগ্রগতির জন্য আমাদের সবাইকে এই অভ্যাসটা জীবনে গঠন করতে হবে।
