💥Durga Puja is a festival celebrated by people who worship Goddess Durga as a symbol of power. Preparations for Durga Puja begin three to four months before the festival, and people exchange gifts and new clothes with friends and relatives on the day of the festival. Bengalis generally gather with their families, enjoy delicious food, and participate in pandal hopping with friends and family.

🎉Various cities in India are beautifully decked out with lights, banners, hoardings, and other decorative elements during Durga Puja. Devi Durga is typically worshipped as a symbol of unity and solidarity. Saptami, Ashtami, Navami, and Dashami are the most important days of this festival.

Among the 20 confirmed deaths was a young student from Grade 3, whose life was tragically cut short in the very classroom where learning and laughter once lived. Hundreds of students were present during the crash, and at least 171 others were injured, many in critical condition.

The child’s death sent waves of grief across the school and the entire nation. Friends, teachers, and family members are mourning the loss of a bright soul with a promising future. The incident turned a place of education into a scene of horror, igniting calls for stricter safety protocols near educational institutions.

The pilot attempted to divert the plane away from populated areas but failed. The government has launched an investigation, and July 22 has been declared a national day of mourning. Citizens across the country are coming together in solidarity, praying for the injured and remembering the innocent lives lost—especially that of the little student who will never return to class.

🪔 Pohela Boishakh is a very special day in Bangladesh. It is the first day of the Bengali New Year. On this day, people wear new clothes and go out to celebrate with their friends and family. Early in the morning, people gather in parks and open spaces to enjoy cultural events. Singers and dancers perform traditional songs and dances. Many people also go to fairs where they can buy toys, food, and crafts. The atmosphere is full of joy and excitement. One of the most popular foods on this day is “Panta Ilish,” which is fermented rice soaked in water and served with fried hilsa fish. Families come together to share this special meal. People also make beautiful designs on the ground with colored powders, called “Alpana.” Shops and homes are decorated with flowers and colorful flags. Children receive gifts and blessings from elders. Pohela Boishakh is not just a day to celebrate the new year, but it is also a day to celebrate the rich culture and traditions of Bangladesh. It is a day of unity and happiness, and everyone looks forward to it all year long.

🌙 Eid ul-Fitr is a major festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide at the end of Ramadan. It is a day of joy, gratitude, and togetherness. The festival marks the completion of a month-long fast, where people refrain from eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset.

✨Eid begins with a special prayer at the mosque, followed by families and friends greeting each other with “Eid Mubarak.” Delicious sweets, especially sewaiyan, are prepared, and people wear new clothes. One of the most important traditions is giving Zakat al-Fitr, a form of charity, to help the poor celebrate Eid.

☪ The festival teaches the values of kindness, sharing, and gratitude. In 2025, Eid ul-Fitr is expected to be celebrated on March 31 or April 1, depending on the moon sighting. It is a time of happiness, bringing people closer, strengthening relationships, and spreading love in the community.

📌26 March is celebrated as the Independent Day of Bangladesh because of this day, the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman officially declared the independence of Bangladesh after the Pakistan Army launched a brutal and barbaric and killed thousands of civilians on the night of 25 March 1971.

🇧🇩The day marks the beginning of a nine-month-long war of liberation till the victory on 16th December 1971. This is a public holiday which is celebrated paying tribute to the millions of martyrs at the National Memorial at Savar. In addition, different national programs are organized to remember the day auspiciously military assault.
