The BAIUST Language Club successfully hosted the Intra-University Presentation Competition 2026 - Bridging Cultures through Language and Technology. A total of 10 teams from different departments took part in the competition. Following an exciting contest, The Runner-up position was secured by a team from the Department of Business Administration.

We are happy to share that the Strategic Business Debate Session organized by the Department of Business Administration, BAIUST, was successfully held with great enthusiasm and active participation from our students.

The program started with warm Welcome Remarks from Dr. Mohammad Shariful Islam, Associate Professor, DBA, whose encouraging words set a positive and thoughtful tone for the entire session.

We were truly privileged to have Saber Shah, Vice President of the Bangladesh Debate Federation and Dristhy Chittagong, and Founder of AW Communication, as our session expert. His engaging discussion and practical insights inspired our students to think critically, express their ideas confidently, and appreciate the importance of debate in strategic business thinking.

The session was further enriched by the inspiring speech of our respected Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Fatema Johara, whose continuous guidance and support always motivate our students to participate in meaningful academic and co-curricular activities.

We were also honored to hear from our Guest of Honour & Honourable Registrar, Lt. Col. Khandoker Mahmud Hossain SPP, psc (Retd.), whose administrative support, thoughtful guidance, and encouragement have always been a strong source of motivation for both students and the department.

The Department of Business Administration sincerely thanks our respected guests, faculty members, organizers, and students for making this session lively, insightful, and memorable.

Abdullah Al Noman, Lecturer, DBA, BAIUST, on receiving the Dean’s Award 2024 for his outstanding academic performance (Faculty first) in the Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) program from the Department of Economics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science at Pabna University of Science and Technology, Pabna, Bangladesh.
