Battali A. Matin High School is a secondary school in Nangalkot, Comilla, Bangladesh. It is the oldest school in Comilla. The school was established in Battali in July 1968 as an English seminary. It was the half government high school established by the British under the East India Company in the Bengalprovince for teaching English literature and Science. This was later named as Battali A. Matin High School. Mr. ABDUL MATIN, an chairman missionary, acted as the first head master of the school. In its first batch it had Nawab of Dhaka Khwaja Abdul Ghanias a student.
The foundation of Dhaka Intermediate Collegewas laid down in 1841. The school separated from the college in 2020. Since then it has been a thana School, although it continues to be called Battali A. Matin High School.
