We are now living in an era where plastic has infiltrated every layer of daily life, from our food, soil, and oceans to even the cells of our bodies. This era is being called the “𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐠𝐞.” Behind the comfort and development of modern life, an endless and invisible festival of pollution has quietly accumulated.

The "𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐠𝐞" Art Exhibition is a creative effort to make this invisible pollution visible. Inspired by the local reality of Cox’s Bazar, the exhibition was initiated by a Beach Walk from Sugandha to Laboni point, where volunteers from 𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡 collected plastic waste discarded by tourists along the shore. This collected plastic has been transformed into a a 𝐃𝐈𝐘 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 and 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡 and 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡, with the support of 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡, are organizing this exhibition which also features thought-provoking 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 by students and artists from Cox’s Bazar and beyond.

This initiative seeks to amplify the voices of the younger generation, encouraging critical thinking, artistic expression and collective action toward environmental protection.

This is more than just an art exhibition. It is a cultural act of awareness- where art, environment, and community come together to build a new language of change.

We're incredibly proud to have partnered with UNHCR in Bangladesh for World Refugee Day 2025.
In powerful solidarity with refugees, ArtSpace Bangladesh designed and created two inspiring murals at the world's largest refugee camp – Kutupalong (Camp 04 and Camp 12).
We also empowered local talent by capacitating young artists from Cox's Bazar through EMBOLDEN Bangladesh, who helped bring these murals to life.
It's an honor to stand alongside UNHCR, uplifting art as a profound tool for peacebuilding, connection, and fostering a shared sense of humanity.

World Refugee Day 2025 | Solidarity Through Art
In honor of World Refugee Day 2025, ArtSpace Bangladesh Studio partnered with UNHCR in Bangladesh to create two powerful murals inspired by this year’s theme:
“Solidarity with Refugees.”
These murals were a heartfelt collaboration between Bangladeshi and Rohingya artists, reflecting shared experiences of resilience, hope, and unity. Through color, form, and collective expression, the project gave voice to stories that transcend borders.
With the generous support of local organization EMBOLDEN Bangladesh this initiative came to life — turning public space into a canvas for connection and a symbol of solidarity.
At ArtSpace Bangladesh, we believe in the power of art to unite communities, uplift voices, and foster empathy.
