সূর্যোদয় থেকে সূর্যাস্ত... শুধু পানি আর পানি।
কক্সবাজারের জেলেরা জীবন বাজি রেখে সমুদ্রে নামে রোজগারের তাগিদে। ৭ থেকে ১০ দিন ধরে চলতে থাকে তাদের সংগ্রাম। ঝড়-বৃষ্টি, গরম-ঝড়ো হাওয়া—কোনো কিছুই থামাতে পারে না তাদের।

কখনো সফল হয়ে, রূপালি মাছের বোঝা নিয়ে তারা ফেরে কিনারায়। আবার কখনো... শুধু অপেক্ষাই থেকে যায়। সমুদ্রই জানে তাদের কথা।
