The Rohingya crisis is far from over.

Many Rohingya continue to risk dangerous sea journeys to reach neighboring countries in search of safety, often falling victim to human trafficking networks. Others lose their lives in climate, related disasters, millions remain stateless and without adequate protection.

No one should have to risk death or exploitation simply to find safety. The international community must strengthen protection, combat human trafficking, ensure accountability for serious human rights violations and work toward a just and lasting solution that guarantees the rights, dignity, safety and citizenship of the Rohingya people.

Education is the strongest foundation for a better future. 📚

Even though we, the Rohingya people, are living in refugee camps and facing immense hardship, education gives our children hope, knowledge, strength, and the confidence to build a better future. It also prepares them to contribute meaningfully if we are one day able to return home or enjoy our full rights.

We appeal to every parent: please make your children’s education a priority. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and achieve their dreams.

Parents, encourage your sons and daughters to study, dream big and never give up. Together, let us build a brighter future through education.

🤲 A Heartbreaking Tragedy

Our hearts are filled with sorrow as a devastating landslide has struck a girls’ Qur’an Memorization Center in Camp 5 of the Rohingya refugee camps.

According to initial reports, more than 50 students and teachers are feared to be trapped beneath the collapsed earth and debris. Rescue efforts are continuing with urgency, while families wait in unbearable fear and uncertainty, praying for the safety of their loved ones. The exact number of those who have been rescued, injured, or lost has not yet been confirmed.

This is a painful reminder of the hardships that refugee families continue to face, where every heavy rainfall brings new fear and danger.

🤲 O Allah, the Most Merciful, protect those who are still trapped beneath the rubble. Grant them strength, hope, and safety. Guide and strengthen the rescue teams in their lifesaving efforts. Bless the injured with a swift recovery, grant patience to the grieving families, and shower Your endless mercy upon all those affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.
