•পহেলা বৈশাখ ১৪৩৩ বঙ্গাব্দ উপলক্ষে কক্সবাজার সিটি কলেজের Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) বিভাগের উদ্যোগে শিক্ষার্থী ও দর্শনার্থীদের জন্য একটি বিনামূল্যে Blood Group Testing ক্যাম্পেইন সফলভাবে আয়োজন করা হয়।

বিভাগীয় প্রধানের সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধান ও নির্দেশনায় আয়োজিত এই ক্যাম্পেইনে ২০০+ অংশগ্রহণকারীর ব্লাড গ্রুপ সফলভাবে নির্ণয় করা হয়। “Know, Donate and Save” প্রতিপাদ্যকে সামনে রেখে আয়োজিত এই উদ্যোগ শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি ও মানবিক দায়িত্ববোধ জাগ্রত করতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখে।

নববর্ষের এই আয়োজনকে আরও বর্ণিল করে তুলতে বিভাগের পক্ষ থেকে শিক্ষার্থীরা বাংলার ঐতিহ্য তুলে ধরার উদ্দেশ্যে বিভিন্ন পিঠার পসরা সাজায়। এতে পুলি পিঠা, পাটিসাপটা, জামাই পিঠা, মালপোয়া, বরফি, নারকেল পিঠা, নকশি পিঠা ও নাড়ুসহ নানা রকম পিঠা উপস্থাপন করা হয়, যা শিক্ষার্থী ও দর্শনার্থীদের মাঝে বাঙালির ঐতিহ্য উপভোগের এক অনন্য সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করে।

একই সাথে বিভাগের শিক্ষিকা ও শিক্ষার্থীরা নববর্ষ উপলক্ষে নৃত্য ও সংগীত পরিবেশনায় অংশগ্রহণ করেন, যা অনুষ্ঠানে প্রাণবন্ত পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি করে।

এছাড়াও কলেজের পক্ষ থেকে নাগরদোলা ও বিভিন্ন বাঙালিয়ানার ঐতিহ্যবাহী খেলাধুলার আয়োজন করা হয়, যা সার্বিক উৎসবকে আরও আনন্দমুখর করে তোলে।

উক্ত কার্যক্রম বাস্তবায়নে HSRC (Higher Studies & Research Club)-এর সদস্যবৃন্দ সার্বিক সহযোগিতা প্রদান করে এবং বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থীরা স্বতঃস্ফূর্তভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করে।

ক্যাম্পেইনটি পরিদর্শন করেন কক্সবাজার সিটি কলেজের সম্মানিত অধ্যক্ষ জনাব আকতার উদ্দিন চৌধুরী, সহ অন্যান্য শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকা ও শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষীবৃন্দ।

Biochemistry and Molecular Biology বিভাগ সর্বদা শিক্ষার্থীদের একাডেমিক উৎকর্ষতার পাশাপাশি সামাজিক, সাংস্কৃতিক ও মানবিক কার্যক্রমে সম্পৃক্ত রাখতে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।

The Practical Examination of Honours 3rd Year (Session: 2021–2022), Examination-2024 (held in 2026), was successfully conducted on 8th and 9th April at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Laboratory, Cox’s Bazar City College.

The examination was conducted under the supervision of the esteemed external examiner, Mr. S.m. Rafiqul Islam Hridoy, Head of the Department, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Siddeshwari College.

All students actively participated in the laboratory examination and successfully demonstrated their experimental findings. Following the practical session, they attended the viva voce, where they exhibited commendable knowledge, skills and academic competence.
The Department expresses its sincere appreciation to the respected examiner and extends best wishes to all students for their academic success.
