Dilla, a criminal, extorted large sums of money while he was a Tabbay of NaKaKa-5 in Maungdaw in 2024. He forced Rohingya civilians into military conscription using the power of the junta. When a family was unable to provide a boy, he extorted money from them. When people tried to flee to Bangladesh, he took money from each person.

In this art, we visualize these realities. He also abused our religious scholars in different ways. Sadly, today some camp Mawlvis are supporting him, forgetting what Tabbay Dilla did to their respective Uloma.

As Rohingya Gen-Z, we believe that silence only protects injustice.

If you or your family were affected, this is your moment to come forward and share your experience. Your voice matters. Your story matters.

We understand the fear, but truth is the first step toward accountability. You can reach out confidentially. Standing together is how we protect each other and seek justice.

Bangladesh warns of new wave of Rohingya refugees making perilous sea crossings 17/04/2026

This sort of boat journey is very risky and inhumane. The passengers are forced to lie down beneath the deck of the wooden boat, packed tightly against one another. There is no scope to make even a little movement,” Sayed Ullah , a Rohingya community leader and acting president of the United Council of Rohingya, told Arab News, citing past testimonies from survivors.

“When people become hopeless, future-less and dream-less in their lives, they become desperate to change their luck. It’s a human instinct.”

Bangladesh warns of new wave of Rohingya refugees making perilous sea crossings DHAKA: Bangladeshi authorities are warning of a new wave of Rohingya taking life-threatening sea journeys to escape refugee camps, as conditions deteriorate due to a sharp decline in international aid, affecting even access to food. At least 250 people are feared dead or missing after a boat capsize...

We know the risks. We know the sea can take lives. Yet many are still forced to take that journey—because they have no other choice.

In the camps, the future feels uncertain and limited. There is no clear path for safe and voluntary repatriation, livelihood opportunities are scarce, and access to education for children remains a serious challenge. Families struggle every day just to survive.

Food reductions and limited basic services are making conditions even harder. Many young people grow up without opportunities, losing hope for a better future. Parents are left with impossible decisions—whether to stay in hardship or risk everything for a chance at survival.

When life offers no safety, no stability, and no hope, people are pushed to take dangerous journeys. These are not decisions made lightly. They are driven by desperation and the need to protect and support their families.
