Youth Organization for Social Development (YOSD) was honored to stand alongside a vibrant alliance of more than sixteen youth-led and community-rooted organizations in Cox’s Bazar to commemorate International Volunteer Day (IVD) 2025.

This year’s celebration offered a remarkable platform for strengthening collective youth voice, fostering collaboration and recognizing the tireless dedication of volunteers who tirelessly contribute to social harmony, resilience-building & sustainable development across the region.

Throughout the program, young participants and community representatives engaged in meaningful dialogues reflecting on the global significance of IVD &the message of this year’s theme. The day further featured specialized learning sessions focusing on gender- responsive leadership, safe, smart & ethical digital engagement and the essential role of youth in driving inclusive community transformation. These discussions not only broadened understanding but also empowered participants with practical tools & perspectives to enhance their leadership roles.

The celebration culminated with a heartfelt volunteer recognition ceremony, colorful cultural presentations & a collective reflection circle highlighting the strength of unity and celebrating the transformative power of youth-driven service initiatives.

For YOSD, IVD 2025 served as a profound reminder that every meaningful contribution whether big or small, creates ripples of positive, lasting change. The dedication, resilience & compassion demonstrated by the young volunteers of Cox’s Bazar continue to inspire our ongoing commitment to advancing the SDGs, promoting peace & social cohesion and championing climate-resilient community development.

Empowered by the spirit of IVD 2025, YOSD moves forward with renewed determination strengthening partnerships, nurturing innovation & amplifying youth leadership as we step confidently toward IVD 2026 and the years ahead.



ইয়ুথ অর্গানাইজেশন ফর সোশ্যাল ডেভেলপমেন্ট (YOSD) গর্বের সাথে কক্সবাজারের ১৬+ যুবনেতৃত্বাধীন ও কমিউনিটি-ভিত্তিক সংগঠনের সমন্বয়ে গঠিত একটি শক্তিশালী নেটওয়ার্কের সঙ্গে আন্তর্জাতিক স্বেচ্ছা- সেবক দিবস (IVD) ২০২৫ উদযাপনে অংশগ্রহণ করে।

এই বছরের আয়োজন তরুণদের সমন্বিত কণ্ঠকে আরও দৃঢ় করেছে এবং এমন একটি অর্থবহ প্ল্যাটফর্ম তৈরি করেছে যেখানে সহযোগিতা, অংশীদারত্ব ও কমিউনিটিভিত্তিক নেতৃত্ব নতুন করে পুনর্গঠিত হয়। বিশেষত, যারা সমাজে সহনশীলতা, অন্তর্ভুক্তি, টেকসই উন্নয়ন গড়ে তুলতে প্রতিনিয়ত কাজ করছেন, তাদের প্রতি আন্তরিক সম্মান ও কৃতজ্ঞতা নিবেদনের সুযোগ তৈরি হয়েছে।

সারাদিন জুড়ে আয়োজনে অংশগ্রহণকারীরা IVD-এর বৈশ্বিক গুরুত্ব, এই বছরের বার্তা এবং যুবসমাজের ভূমিকা নিয়ে গভীর আলোচনা করেন। পাশাপাশি অনুষ্ঠিত হয় জেন্ডার-সংবেদনশীল নেতৃত্ব, স্মার্ট, নিরাপদ ও নৈতিক ডিজিটাল সম্পৃক্ততা ও অন্তর্ভুক্তি- মূলক কমিউনিটি গঠনে যুবশক্তির ভূমিকা এসব বিষয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সেশন। এসব আলোচনা তরুণদের দক্ষতা বৃদ্ধি,দৃষ্টিভঙ্গির বিস্তারও বাস্তবমুখী নেতৃত্বে অনুশীলনে নতুন মাত্রা যোগ করে।

অনুষ্ঠানের সমাপ্তি হয় স্বেচ্ছাসেবক সম্মাননা, মনোমুগ্ধ কর সাংস্কৃতিক পরিবেশনা এবং সম্মিলিত প্রতিফলনের মাধ্যমে, যা ঐক্যের শক্তি তুলে ধরে ও তরুণদের সেবা- মূলক উদ্যোগের অসাধারণ অবদানকে উদযাপন করে।

YOSD-এর জন্য IVD ছিল একটি গভীর অনুপ্রেরণার উৎস, যে প্রতিটি সেবামূলক কাজ, আকারে যত ছোটই হোক, সমাজে স্থায়ী ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন আনে। কক্স- বাজারের তরুণ স্বেচ্ছাসেবকদের নিষ্ঠা, মানবিকতা ও আত্মত্যাগ আমাদেরকে আরও উৎসাহিত করে SDGs অর্জন, সামাজিক সম্প্রীতি বৃদ্ধি ও জলবায়ু-সহনশীল কমিউনিটি গঠনের পথে দৃঢ়ভাবে এগিয়ে যেতে।

IVD ২০২৫-এর উদ্দীপনা ও শক্তিকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে YOSD নতুন অঙ্গীকারে এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে সহযোগিতা বিস্তৃত করা, উদ্ভাবনী উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ, এবং যুব নেতৃত্বকে আরও বৃহৎ পরিসরে তুলে ধরার লক্ষ্য নিয়ে IVD ২০২৬ ও তার পরবর্তী সময়ের যাত্রায় আত্মবিশ্বাসের সাথে অগ্রসর হচ্ছে।
