As a result, the untiring effort and wait of the people of this region was over when the announcement of establishing Comilla University came. The people of Cumilla were overjoyed as their concerted effort and demand of a university here for long and their contribution in spreading and nurturing the tradition of exploring knowledge and culture had at last got recognition in the form of the foundation of this university.Comilla University has at last become a milestone in the history of higher education in Bangladesh.
