Biography of The CEO of Brainyard Academy of Smart Skills -

Md Golam Dastagir Jony, a passionate entrepreneur with more than 10 years of experience running multiple private businesses and an ardent corporate trainer with more than 9 years of experience in public speaking and soft skills training in Bangladesh. He holds an MBA in marketing with a bachelor’s degree in communication engineering.

He is the founder Director Operations for Sthananko, an Architectural firm providing Architectural Design Consultancy and Civil Construction solutions since 2013. Besides this he is also the founding Chief Executive officer of Brainyard Academy of Smart Skills (BASS), a soft skills training institute. He has also established a super store named O2 mart as one of the founder directors.

As a trainer, he achieved several international certifications on communication and leadership including the most prestigious distinguished toastmaster certification from Toastmasters International, the highest recognition offered by Toastmasters International to any member.

Md Golam Dastagir Jony is also internationally certified in various soft skills such as public speaking, leadership, emotional intelligence, professional networking skills, managing stress, and strategic thinking among others.

Mr Md Golam Dastagir Jony is serving as District 124 parliamentarian, Toastmasters International. Toastmasters International is a US headquartered nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of promoting communication, public speaking and leadership.

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is an increasingly important factor in the professional arena, and its necessity cannot be overstated. Those with high EI are able to think rationally and respond appropriately in a variety of situations; they possess strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills, can correctly interpret emotions in themselves and others, have empathy, exhibit flexible problem solving tactics, think optimistically, exercise sound judgement when making decisions, manage stress effectively, establish successful relationships with their peers and subordinates alike, demonstrate the ability to handle conflict with diplomacy and without creating more problems – all invaluable attributes that increase productivity while allowing for more collaborative work environments. Practicing EI increases our effectiveness as professionals both territorially and in terms of understanding the complexity of our teams and developing strategies for success.
