Students attending the Workshop on Healthy Eating, conducted by Ms. Hasina Akhtar Lipi, Clinical Nutritionist, Parkview Hospital Ltd. Healthy eating and making healthy choices is a life skill that if inculcated at an early age can provide children with a foundation for building a healthy life for themselves. It was a very fruitful session with students listening and interacting with the speaker to gain more perspective on the topic.

CGS NC students participated in the inter school chess competition organized by the Bangladesh Chess Federation- "Marks Active School Chess Champs". The event was held at the CJKS Stadium on the 20th and 21st of September 2022. CGS NC students attended the competition with 2 teams, Team A placed 10th and Team B placed 23rd in the competition. Congratulations to both teams on their performance.

Chittagong Grammar School National Curriculum hosted the vaccination drive of 5 to 11 year olds on the 25th of August, 2022. The vaccination drive at CGS will continue up to the middle of next week. Ward Counselor of Chawkbazar and other officials from Chittagong City Corporation were present during the opening ceremony. CGS authorities, parents, teachers and the little students carried out the inoculations with enthusiasm and fanfare on the opening day. We are all united in the fight against Covid-19 and will continue this drive with equal zeal for the upcoming days.

CGS NC Students took the initiative to raise funds for the underprivileged people who were recently badly affected by the recent floods in the Chittagong region. They visited Satkania and presented essential food items to households that have suffered the most during this rainy season.

আজ জাতীয় শোক দিবস। ১৯৭৫ সালের পনেরো আগষ্ট কাল রাত্রিতে নিহত হন জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান সপরিবারে। সমগ্র জাতির সাথে চিটাগাং গ্রামার স্কুল (ন্যাশনাল কারিকুলাম) এবং সি জি এস কমিউনিটি স্কুলের শিক্ষার্থীরাও শ্রদ্ধাবনতচিত্তে পালন করছে 'জাতীয় শোক দিবস'।

CGS and CGS NC Teams received internationally recognized certification on First Aid after completing three days of training from Bangladesh Red Crescent Society. Participants were trained in several first aid skills for administering CPR, Heimlich maneuver incase of choking, managing and preventing shock, bleeding and it's management, caring for different types of wounds, burns and, fractures, caring for seizures, faints and unconsciousness, managing bites and stings and finally transportation of casualties.
Congratulations to all the participants on passing your evaluation as First Aid providers and earning your certificates.

Athletics and sports are not only great fun and memorable to participate in, but it also lead to boosting our physical and mental health. It is the ultimate display of competitiveness with the spirit of sportsmanship. All players across the leaderboard realize their strengths through hurdling in the game field and come out defeating their individual limitations. This most anticipated CGS NC Annual Athletics event took place on the 10th of February, 2023, at the Police Line Field. Students also took part in the event with full enthusiasm dancing to the tunes of Jerusalema. We congratulate all the winners 🏆🥇 and participants ⛹🏻‍♀️⛹🏻 for making this event an epic one.
