চট্টগ্রাম কলেজ ফিজিক্স আ্যন্ড অ্যাস্ট্রোনমি ক্লাব এর নতুন প্রবন্ধ “জোড়া তারা ব্যবস্থার বলবিদ্যা (Mechanics of the Binary Star System)”-এ আমরা উন্মোচন করেছি যুগল নক্ষত্র ব্যবস্থার এক বিস্ময়কর যাত্রা, এর সৃষ্টি ও কক্ষীয় গতি থেকে শুরু করে কেপলারের সূত্র, কক্ষীয় শক্তি, রোশ সীমা, ভর স্থানান্তর এবং মহাকর্ষীয় তরঙ্গ পর্যন্ত।

একসময় ভাবা হতো ব্ল্যাকহোল অমর...

কিন্তু মহাবিশ্বের নিয়ম খুব অদ্ভুত—এখানে যার জন্ম আছে, তার মৃত্যুও আছে! ১৯৭৪ সালে স্টিফেন হকিং কোয়ান্টাম পদার্থবিজ্ঞানের সাহায্যে পুরো ধারণাটাই বদলে দিলেন। তিনি দেখালেন শূন্যস্থানও আসলে শূন্য নয়, আর ইভেন্ট হরাইজনের প্রান্তে ঘটা ঘটনার ফলে ব্ল্যাকহোলও ধীরে ধীরে সংকুচিত হতে থাকে। সংকুচিত হতে হতে একসময় এ ব্ল্যাকহোলও মহাবিশ্বের চির অন্ধকারে হারিয়ে যায়।

প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে, কীভাবে কোটি কোটি বছর পর এক মহাজাগতিক বিস্ফোরণে বিলীন হয়ে যায় ব্ল্যাকহোল?

পর্দায় স্পাইডার-ম্যানের রোমাঞ্চকর অভিযানের আড়ালে লুকিয়ে থাকা পদার্থবিজ্ঞানের সূক্ষ্ম তত্ত্বগুলো নিয়ে চট্টগ্রাম কলেজ ফিজিক্স অ্যান্ড অ্যাস্ট্রোনমি ক্লাবের (CCPAC) আয়োজন—বিজ্ঞান প্রবন্ধ “স্পাইডার-ম্যানের জালে পদার্থবিজ্ঞান (Web of the Multiverse: The Physics Behind Spider-Man: Brand New Day)”।

এই প্রবন্ধে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে মার্ভেল সিনেম্যাটিক ইউনিভার্স ও স্পাইডার-ভার্সের আড়ালে থাকা বাস্তব বৈজ্ঞানিক ভিত্তি; কোয়ান্টাম বলবিদ্যা, হিউ এভারেটের 'মেনি-ওয়ার্ল্ডস ইন্টারপ্রিটেশন', আইনস্টাইনের আপেক্ষিকতার তত্ত্ব এবং স্থান-কালের বাঁকে তৈরি আইনস্টাইন-রোজেন ব্রিজ বা ওয়ার্মহোল।
পাশাপাশি এতে বিশদভাবে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে কোয়ান্টাম অনিশ্চয়তা নীতি, এপিজেনেটিক মিউটেশন, ফ্র্যাক্টাল জ্যামিতি এবং কসমিক ইনফ্লেশনের মতো ৯টি বৈজ্ঞানিক তত্ত্বের চমৎকার প্রয়োগ।

The Chittagong College Physics and Astronomy Club (CCPAC) is filled with immense pride and joy to share that, at the 𝟔𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐝 (𝐈𝐌𝐎) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 held in China, our very own 𝐌𝐝. 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞 (𝟏𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒𝟐𝟓𝟎𝟏𝟎𝟓𝟐𝟎) has clinched a 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥, scoring 23 out of 42. After earning an Honorable Mention at the 66th IMO in Sunshine Coast, Australia, last year, he has reached new heights of success. His dedication to mathematics continues to be an incredible inspiration for us all.

This year, the entire six member Bangladesh team has created history by winning medals across the board. The team achieved a total score of 121 points, the highest ever total score for Bangladesh in IMO history, securing the 39th position among 117 participating nations.

This historic milestone is a reflection of the exceptional leadership and mentorship provided by Team Leader Mahbubul Alam Majumder and Deputy Team Leader Apurbo Kumar. We extend our deepest gratitude to them as the vital stakeholders of this success.
