Glimpses from 19th January – Mongolchari Workshop 1.0✨

An inspiring session with amazing speakers, great energy, and enthusiastic participants. We are truly grateful to our speakers who made the workshop so impactful.

Md. Mainul Hasan (Former Team Lead, Mongol Ovijatrik 71) shared the history of CUET rover projects, his journey through different robotics projects, and how involvement in such work can shape a strong future in engineering and research.

Jawad Rahman (Former Team Lead, Mongol Barota) talked about his military projects, his journey in international rover competitions, and how advanced robotics is becoming essential for us in the modern technological era.

Shafqat Nawaz Chowdhury (Non-Technical Member, CUET Mongolchari) beautifully presented the history of CUET Mongolchari, our achievements, the work we have done so far, and what Mongolchari has to offer to the participants and future members.

We were honored to have our respected advisor Professor Dr. Jamal Uddin Ahamed sir with us, whose guidance and presence made the event even more meaningful. A special shoutout to our moderator Kazi Naimur Rahman for smoothly leading the session and keeping the flow engaging throughout.

Every talk was powerful, every moment was motivating, and the participants’ enthusiasm made the workshop a huge success. 🚀🔥

Presenting the guests for our workshop 🌟

🔹Mainul Hasan, CUET ME’12 graduate, Former Team Lead, CUET Mongol Ovijatrik. The visionary who took the first initiative to start the Mars Rover team at CUET. He represented our country by securing 3rd position in the Academia Category at the MINESWEEPERS competition held in Malaysia in 2017. Taking CUET to the international level from scratch was not an easy journey, but his dedication and leadership made it possible. By inheriting his legacy, we began our own path forward. We are truly eager to hear his words and learn from his experiences.

🔹Jawad Rahman, Former Team Lead, MIST Mongol Barota, Robotics Software Engineer, working on cutting-edge projects in autonomous systems, space assistive robots, surveillance rovers, and advanced software development. His achievements include 14th place at the University Rover Challenge 2025 and 5th place at the Anatolian Rover Challenge 2023. Get ready to be inspired 🚀
