#ডিউড্রপসপ্রিপারেটরীস্কুল কর্তৃক শিশু শেখ রাসেলের স্মৃতি-রোমন্থন করে চিত্রাংকন প্রতিযোগিতার আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল গত ১৮ই অক্টোবর অত্র প্রতিষ্ঠানের স্কুলের প্রাঙ্গনে। শিশু রাসেলের প্রতি ভালোবাসা ও শ্রদ্ধা জ্ঞাপন করে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের অংশগ্রহণের কিছু ছবি এবং রাসেলের পরিচয় ও সংক্ষিপ্ত জীবনী তুলে ধরা হয়েছে।

নিরপরাধ নিষ্পাপ একটি শিশু হচ্ছে শেখ রাসেল। এরপরেও তাকে জীবন দিতে হয়েছে মাত্র ১০ বছর বয়সে। বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের প্রিয় পুত্র এবং বাড়ির সর্বকনিষ্ঠ সদস্য শেখ রাসেল।
শেখ রাসেলের জন্মঃ-অক্টোবর ১৮, ১৯৬৪ সাল।
শেখ রাসেলের মৃত্যুঃ-আগস্ট ১৫, ১৯৭৪ সাল।
শেখ রাসেলের বয়সঃ-১০ বছর।
মৃত্যুর কারণঃ-হত্যা।
জাতীয়তাঃ-বাংলাদেশী।
নাগরিকত্বঃ-বাংলাদেশী।

জীবনী সম্পর্কিত বিষয়ে অবশ্যই জন্ম তারিখের বিষয়টি তুলে ধরার প্রয়োজন রয়েছে। শেখ রাসেল তৎকালীন পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের ঢাকা অঞ্চলের ধানমন্ডিতে ৩২ নম্বর বঙ্গবন্ধু ভবনে ১৮ অক্টোবর, ১৯৬৪ সালে জন্মগ্রহন করেন। বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের ৫ সন্তানের মধ্যে সর্বকনিষ্ঠ হচ্ছে আজকের আলোচিত শিশু শেখ রাসেল। এক্ষেত্রে পরিবারের সকল সদস্য তাকে বেশ ভালোবাসতেন । কিন্তু এই ভালোবাসা নিয়ে বেশিদিন পৃথিবীতে থাকতে পারেননি শিশুরাসেল।চতুর্থ শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত পড়াশোনা করার সুযোগ পেয়েছিলেন শেখ রাসেল।

At Dewdrops Preparatory School's premises an auspicious & significant programme focusing on "Tree Plantation & Dengue fever : Precautions & Preventions" was arranged yesterday with proper care & attention with the courtesy of Lions club Chittagong.
As trees are our friends,our shields, our oxygen factories, and there's no denying the fact that without trees we can survive in this globe. Our world will be barren if we don't take proper care of it. The wars and the weapons in the war, in some Places /Regions of the earth, are creating & emitting every now and then a huge amount of carbon-dioxide/ chlorofluorocarbons day by day. Therefore, we should raise our voice focusing on the importance & beneficiary matters of Tree Plantation.
And another simultaneously tossed topic is dengue fever that has already been spread out in an alarming rate all over the country.
Immediately, we should take proper precautions, care and preventive measures to have control over it.
We are planting trees everywhere but the stagnant water,' in the tubs, around the places, grounds, besides the garden, is very dangerous to spread out mosquitoes. We should need proper steps & measures to minimize the loss and danger. In the meeting, our Principal Ma'am, the speakers from Loins club were upholding the facts, measures & precautions how to save ourselves.

Lord, grant our prayers that You would keep them safe and sound from harm and danger. Protect them from physical harm, sickness, and disease and guard their minds, bodies and spirits in perfect health. Shield them from the attacks of the enemies and help them stand firm in your truth.
