Chandraghona Model Multilateral High School is a notable secondary school in Rangunia Chittagong. Established in 1966, it is one of the best school in Rangunia Chittagong . The school is known for its excellence in providing secondary education.The school has a dormitory for the residential students and has a residential area for the teachers. Late Al-Haj Kalu Mea Sowdagor (1917- 1994) is the Founder of this school. Late Al-Haj Kalu Mea Sowdagor, son of Late Karom Ali Fakir (a pious and religious man) was born in a respectable Muslim family of Chandraghona, Rangunia, Chittagong on 1917. After his primary schooling & Madrasha in Rangunia, Chittagong, He Started business careers just after completion of his education & achieved remarkable success in business. Late Al-Haj Kalu Mea Sowdagor was social reformer & respectable person of the society. Late Al-Haj Kalu Mea Sowdagor was the Founder of Chandraghona M.M.High School The school has a dormitory for the residential students and has a residential area for the teachers. It has a playground . It also has a Mosque. The school is also undertaking the development of its sports facilities which includes a swimming pool within the school campus. The school field which was filled with sand has been made a grassy playground. The school offers teaching in 01 shift over six days a week to its over 900 students in its 10 classrooms.
