High school, college and university students can submit original short films focused on critical women’s issues such as girls’ education, ending violence against women, poverty & economic independence, and authentic beauty/body image and more.

28th April was the day of the Annual Prize Giving Ceremony of Aparajita Literacy Program this year. The ceremony was successful with the presence of the honorable members of the Governance Committee, Housekeeping Department and our beloved students.

This is the eve of the year end prize giving ceremony of the Aparajita Literacy Program!

The person in the photo is Mukhlesur Rohman Sujon(40). He has been lost since 7th January. His village home is in Chandpur, current residence is in Sholoshahar 2 no. Gate, Nasirabad, Chittagong. He had been suffering from a psychological disorder since 1.5 years. On January 3rd, he was sent to Dhaka for treatment. He arrived at his mother’s place in Dhaka properly but his health situation got worse. On January 7th, his relatives took him to the Dhaka Medical Collage Hospital and since then he is lost. His mobile phone is being answered by a stranger, which means it is either lost or stolen. His wife Khurshida is a worker at Asian University for Women as a housekeeping personnel. Due to her working duty, she is unable to go to Dhaka to search for him.

ছবির লোকটির নাম মোহাম্মদ মোখলেসুর রহমান সুজন। বয়স আনুমানিক ৪০ বছর। লোকটি ৭ জানুয়ারি থেকে ঢাকা থেকে নিখোঁজ। তার গ্রামের বাড়ি চাঁদপুর, বর্তমান বসবাস ২ নম্বর গেট, নাসিরাবাদ, চট্টগ্রাম। গত ৩ জানুয়ারি মানসিক সমস্যার কারনে তার কর্মজীবী স্ত্রী বেগম খুরশিদা তাকে ঢাকায় পাঠান। তখন মোখলেসুর রহমানের মানসিক অবস্থা কিছুটা ভাল ছিল। কাজের ব্যস্ততার কারনে তার স্ত্রী বেগম খুরশিদা তার সাথে ঢাকায় যেতে পারেননি। তিনি চট্টগ্রাম থেকে রওনা হয়ে ঠিক ভাবে ঢাকায় তার মায়ের বাসায় পৌঁছান। ঢাকায় পৌঁছানোর পরে তার মানসিক অবস্থার অবনতি ঘটে। ৭ জানুয়ারিতে তার আত্মীয়-স্বজন মিলে তাকে ঢাকা মেডিকেলে দিয়ে আসার দুদিন পর থেকে তার আর কোন খোঁজ পাওয়া যাচ্ছেনা। তার মোবাইল ফোন চুরি হয়ে গিয়েছে, তাকে কল করা হলে অন্য কেউ রিসিভ করছে। তার স্ত্রী খুরশিদা এশিয়ান ইউনিভার্সিটি ফর ওমেন এ হাউসকিপিং অফিসে কাজ করছেন এবং তার পক্ষে ঢাকায় গিয়ে তার স্বামীকে খোঁজা দুঃসাধ্য।
