আজ ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারি, আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস।
এই দিনে আমরা গভীর শ্রদ্ধার সাথে স্মরণ করি বাংলাদেশের সেই সকল ভাষা শহীদদের, যারা আমাদের মাতৃভাষা বাংলাকে রক্ষার জন্য নিজের জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছিলেন। তাদের ত্যাগের বিনিময়ে আমরা পেয়েছি আমাদের ভাষায় কথা বলার অধিকার।
উইলিয়াম কেরি একাডেমি ভাষা শহীদদের প্রতি জানায় গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা।

Today, 21st February, we observe International Mother Language Day.
We honor the martyrs of Bangladesh who sacrificed their lives to protect our mother tongue, Bangla. Because of their courage and sacrifice, we have the right to speak in our own language.
