Message from the Principal
Exciting is the first word that comes to my mind when I think of walking through the halls and around the campus of my school, there is a constant din of activity. It could be the students making a joyful noise in music class, it could be the reciting of poems or Spelling Words, and it could be the laughing of students as they enjoy recess, and here one thing is certain,

however, and that is that in Magpie International School (MIS), Education is Exciting!!! Teachers here understand the immense responsibility to bring the love of learning and the love of our Savior to each student everyday. Our commitment to students and their families is what makes Magpie International School (MIS) a special place. We welcome parents to watch the happy faces of our students as they work hard, play hard, and learn that education is exciting and fun! Magpie International School(MIS) pioneered the leading international curriculum that also fulfills the needs of the English National Curriculum in Bangladesh, keeping it on par with leading schools worldwide. We aim to develop and nurture child with safe and stimulating environment and provide high quality, integrated early Education and Child care parents in Bangladesh. Each child is special and school provides a structural learning programme based on child's individual needs. Because the early Years are critical in a child's development: physically, emotionally and socially. Our aim is to work together with parents to develop a key learning skill, including 'Listening, Speaking, Concentration; Persistence and co-operation. শিশুদের মধ্যে সাধারণ একটা ব্যাপার হল, ওরা সুযোগ নেয়। ওরা যদি কিছু নাও জানে, তবুও ওরা তা চেষ্টা করে দেখে। ওরা ভুল করাকে ভয় পায় না। আমি বলছি না যে ভুল করা আর সৃজনশীলতা একই কথা। আমরা যেটা জানি সেটা হল আপনি যদি ভুল করতে প্রস্তুত না থাকেন, তবে আপনি কখনোই মৌলিক কিছু করতে পারবেন না -- যদি ভুল করতে প্রস্তুত না থাকেন। আর যতদিনে এসব শিশুরা পূর্ণবয়স্ক হয়, অধিকাংশই এই ক্ষমতাটা হারিয়ে ফেলে। ওরা নিজের ভুল করা নিয়ে আতঙ্কিত হয়ে পড়ে। এবং আমরা কিন্তু এভাবেই আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো চালাচ্ছি। আমরা ভুলকে কলঙ্কিত করি। আমরা এখন এমন জাতীয় শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা চালাচ্ছি যেখানে ভুল করাকে একবারেই নিকৃষ্ট হিসেবে ধরা হয়। আর তার ফল হল, আমরা মানুষকে শিক্ষিত করে তার নিজের সৃজনশীলতার বাইরে এনে ফেলছি। পিকাসো বলে গেছেন -- "সব শিশুই জন্মগতভাবে শিল্পী।" সমস্যাটা হল, বড় হওয়ার সাথে সাথে সেই শিল্পীসত্তাকে ধরে রাখা।
