Members of the CIU English Club 👑 🪄 recently had the opportunity to attend the enlightening seminar on "Career Prospects for English Graduates 1.0," hosted by the Department of English 🎓

Our keynote speaker, Mr. Motaher Hossan (FAVP & Branch Manager at Meghna Bank PLC), shared actionable wisdom on bridging the gap between classroom learning and the modern job market. From self-evaluations and practical skill acquisition to navigating long-term career goals, the discussion provided clear guidance for every English major in attendance.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Department of English and SLASS for organizing such an empowering event, as well as to the esteemed faculty and guests present. Our members walked away inspired, motivated, and equipped with a clearer perspective on future horizons! 🚀💼

Recently, the executive team of the CIU English Club👑 🪄 (CIUEC) gathered for a special formal networking lunch alongside our esteemed club moderator, turning a simple meal into an invaluable session of growth and strategic alignment.🩷

Chasing Waterfalls: The CIU English Club's Epic Wild Escape! 🌿💧

​Who says we only spend our time buried in literature, analyzing poetry, and perfecting our grammar? Sometimes, you just have to close the books and let nature write the story. This weekend, the CIU English Club traded the university classrooms for the rugged trails and took on the mighty Napittachora Jhorna!🏞️

​The journey there was a massive part of the fun. We navigated through thick greenery, slipped and slid down muddy paths, and cheered each other on through the trickiest parts of the trek. But the moment we heard the roar of the falls and felt the cool mist in the air, we knew every single muddy step was entirely worth it.🧗🏻

​From taking a well-deserved plunge into the freezing muddy basin to just chilling and sliding on the wet cascading rocks, it was an adventure for the books. Seeing everyone splashing around, laughing until our sides hurt, and capturing these chaotic, picture-perfect moments together proved that this club’s energy is absolutely unmatched.💪🏻

​Huge shoutout to everyone who showed up, brought the best vibes, and made this trip so incredibly memorable. Nothing brings a team together quite like surviving a wild jungle trek, sharing stories under a roaring waterfall, and getting completely soaked in the process. It was the perfect reset before diving back into our academic grind.
