★ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় ১জুলাই,১৯২১ সালে লর্ড রিভিং এর সময়ে।
★২৭ মে,১৯১২ সালে ১৩ সদস্যের নাথান কমিশন গঠিত হয়।
★১৯১৩ নাথান কমিশন রিপোর্ট প্রকাশ করেন।
★ঢাবির প্রথম ভিসি ছিলেন পি.জে.হার্টস।
★ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রথম বাঙালি উপাচার্য ছিলেন স্যার এফ রহমান।
★ঢাবির প্রথম ছাত্রী লীলা নাগ(ইংরেজি বিভাগ)।
★ঢাবির প্রথম মুসলিম ছাত্রী ফজিলাতুন্নেছা।
★শেখ মুজিব ঢাবির আইন বিভাগে ভর্তি হন ১৯৪৭ সালে।তিনি সলিমুল্লাহ হলে থাকতেন।
★ভাইসরয় লর্ড হার্ডিকে নাথান কমিশন করতে অনুরোধ করেন- নবাব খাজা সলিমুল্লাহ, শেরে বাংলা এ.কে ফজলুল হক, নওয়াব আলী চৌধুরী ও খান বাহাদুর চৌধুরী ও কাজিমুদ্দীন আহমেদ।
