"Fun Debate" held on 29th January, 2024

We deeply mourn the demise of our Chairman, Prof. Dr. Md. Khaled Bin Chowdhury's late father Md. Idris Chowdhury. Our deepest condolences to the bereaved family. May his soul rest in eternal peace!

The Department of English Language and Literature recently has organized a farewell reception on 14th of November for the 33rd and 34th batches at USTC D-Block. The event was graced by the distinguished presence of the Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dean of the Department, Chairman of the Department, Proctor, IQAC Director, devoted teachers, and enthusiastic students.

The occasion, marked by its significant attendees, was undoubtedly a memorable and dignified affair. The collective presence of academic leadership, faculty members, and students created an atmosphere of camaraderie and reflection.

The DELL Intra Department Annual Debate Competition, USTC took place on November 12, 2023, at 11 am in the Room 1102. Distinguished attendees included the Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Proctor of USTC, Dean, Chair and Teachers of DELL, along with students.

The event was a resounding success, and heartfelt congratulations are extended to the DDC Advisor, Ahmed Reza, Lecturer, DELL and all the members of the DDC for their commendable efforts in orchestrating such a noteworthy program.

DELL Football Tournament 2023:

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the DELL Football Tournament 2023, an event that saw its inception on the 9th of October and its culmination on the 16th of the same month. The competition bore witness to unrelenting fervor for the sport, exceptional skills, and intense competition.
