Our world today is facing unprecedented issues including climate change, conflicts, inequalities and both challenges and opportunities arising from globalization and technological advancements.

Our theme for the year, ‘Together We Rise’ is a call for our students and indeed citizens of the world to come together as we navigate through these complex challenges. Our hope is that the CGS Annual Art Competition is an opportunity to reflect and research on the theme set each year.

The criteria for judging took into account both artistic quality and how effectively the theme was interpreted. We had to disqualify several entries that closely copied online images—while drawing inspiration from web content is acceptable, direct copies are not.

Our Judges were impressed by the number of high-quality entries both in the Junior and Senior categories. Our heartiest congratulations to the winning entries! We look forward to your participation in next year’s art competition.
