Hello, here we are presenting to you the Second Executive Committee of the Sociology English Quorum. After a long time, the hard work and dedication of the members made us believe in entrusting the responsibility to both President Sahab Uddin Shihab and General Secretary Kazi Rifa Tamanna Chitra for the upcoming days. Along with them, as a Student Advisor, Nazmul Islam will be there to guide the way. So, we are excited to welcome them as our next leaders.

Honoring February 21st: The Power of Language
Language is more than words—it is identity, expression, and connection. On February 21st, International Mother Language Day, we celebrate linguistic diversity and the importance of learning and preserving languages.
For English learners, this day is a reminder that every language opens doors to new opportunities and cultures. Just as Bangladesh fought to protect its mother tongue, we recognize the value of every language in shaping our world.
Let’s continue our journey of learning, embracing new languages while honoring our own.
Every language matters.

We are deeply heartbroken by the passing of Professor Dr Indrajit Kundu. He was not just a teacher but a kind and wise mentor who helped and inspired many. His warmth, dedication, and knowledge will always be remembered. Though he is no longer with us, his teachings and kindness will live on in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
