Lastly, providing training it makes the concern groups, especially youth, competent to play active citizen’s role. CLAP realizes that to play the proper role, citizen, primarily, need proper awareness, while, the victims need assistance to hold a hope and to believe in changes. CLAP trains youths with a view to make, them emerge as future leader and help them practice their leadership skills. Furthermore, it engages the victims; marginalized minorities and stigmatized groups, and disseminates information regarding their rights and duties. CLAP, already, has gained confidence to find that a few of its ideas and demands materialized in the Govt. and Public Policy. Very recent one is the Govt. Recognition of Transgender Community. CLAP had been conducting intense awareness campaign and strongly demanded for their rights. Currently it is focusing on various social issues prevalent in Chittagong. Among them Chittagong Hill Tract (CHT) issue is placed high on the agenda of CLAP. Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) is the place full of diversity consisting colorful culture and ethnicity and wonderful natural beauty. Unfortunately, it has been misgoverned for a long period with ethnic clashes, land disputes and state oppression. With a specific vision of creating a better Bangladesh, achieved by youth, CLAP is successfully building a national and global platform as well. It, already, has drawn attention of youths not only from home but also abroad. International youths, from several universities, are joining from many corners of the world with their help, campaign and fundraising. Here, CLAP organizes comprehensive fieldwork, interactive discussion and helps the youth to broaden their communicative skills in order to be competent leader. In its short journey, CLAP was assisted by several International Development Agencies and Organizations i.e. The US Department of State, Relief International, Junior Chember International, are notable names who understood the effectiveness of CLAP’s pragmatic approach to deal with social challenges and stood beside it. Locally, CLAP is collaborating with a good number of social welfare, voluntary NGO’s, youth and leadership organizations. Awareness drives an individual to take the responsibility. An individual’s committed effort brings substantial progress. Sustainable development cannot come at the push of button. Here CLAP carefully scrutinizes all its endeavors and always seeks for improvement through research and innovation. However, since its inception, CLAP has been constantly moving up towards steady progress.
