📢 MoU Signed: BGC Trust University Bangladesh & Dawn of Bioinformatics Bangladesh

We are thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Pharmacy, BGC Trust University Bangladesh and Dawn of Bioinformatics Bangladesh to foster cutting-edge research in bioinformatics.

The event was held at the IQAC Conference Room and graced by our honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Manzoorul Kibria as Chief Guest, Registrar Dr. S. M. Shoaib as Special Guest, along with the Deputy Registrar. The session was presided over by Mr. Zahed Bin Rahim, Chairman-in-charge of the Department of Pharmacy. From Dawn of Bioinformatics Limited, the event was attended by;
Chief Executive Officer, SK. Faisal Ahmed, Chief Human Resources Officer, Zerin Sultana Lira, (CHRO) and Chattagram Branch Manager, Proja Barua.

The Department of Pharmacy proudly organized a grand and memorable event featuring the “6th Executive Committee of BGCTUB Pharma Club” and the “Prize Giving Ceremony of Summer Sport Fest.”

The ceremony was graced by the honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Manjoorul Kibria, as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Md. Hazrat Ali Miah, Honorable Treasurer and Dr. S. M. Shoaib, Registrar in-charge, attended as the Special Guest. The event was presided over by Mr. Zahid Bin Rahim, Chairman in-charge, along with the presence of respected faculty members of the department.

One of the most inspiring moments of the program was the felicitation of Dr. Sharmin Akter, Assistant Professor of the Department of Pharmacy, for successfully achieving her PhD degree with great distinction. Her remarkable accomplishment stands as a source of inspiration for both students and colleagues.

The program also marked the official oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Pharma Club leaders, where Reduanul Haque Hridoy took oath as Vice President and Sanjidul Islam Saimun as General Secretary. Their leadership symbolizes a new journey of innovation, dedication, and student engagement within the department.

The event concluded with the Prize Giving Celebration of Summer Sport Fest, honoring the enthusiasm, talent, and achievements of the students. With the active participation of respected teachers, guests, and students, the entire programme became a vibrant celebration of leadership, excellence, unity, and inspiration.

Orientation Program | Spring ’26 | 40th Batch

The Department of Pharmacy, BGC Trust University Bangladesh successfully conducted the Orientation Program for the Spring ’26 session (40th Batch) today.

The program was honored by the presence of the Honourable Registrar in-charge Dr. S M Shoaib, the Chairman in-charge of the Department Mr. Zahed Bin Rahim, the Coordinator of the department Dr. Sharmin Akther and esteemed faculty members. The session began with a warm introduction, followed by an insightful presentation delivered by the Honourable Chairman, highlighting academic goals and departmental expectations.

In the concluding session, the Assistant Proctor Mr. Mohammed Arman shared important guidelines and instructions from the Proctorial Team, ensuring a smooth and disciplined academic journey ahead for the newcomers.
