✨ We love to see our people succeed, go beyond the mediocre, and uplift each other✨

Every time one of our companions gets into higher studies after completing their graduation from AUW, we can’t help but feel proud 🌸. As we believe in being “successful together and celebrating each other,” we want to appreciate these milestones – even in a bare minimum way – by creating a collective list of where our Bioinformatics/Biological Sciences alumni have gone for MS/PhD programs. 🎓💡

Alumni, please share your grad school achievements abroad (program, university, and year) in the DM. Even if we already know your info, kindly send it again to confirm your consent.

📸✨ Moments from an inspiring evening at the Genomic Medicine Talk hosted by the AUW Bioinformatics Club!

We were honored to welcome Dr. Marcus Jones, Executive Director at Regeneron Genetics Center, who shared groundbreaking insights on genomic studies involving over 30,000 individuals from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. His talk shed light on the genome-wide study of positively selected loci and the role of genomic medicine in understanding diseases in South Asian populations.

A heartfelt thank you to our RGC collaborators — Dr. Moeen Riaz, Dr. Manav Kapoor, and Dr. Alan Shuldiner — for their contributions to this impactful session.

In the face of mass suffering and systematic erasure, silence is not an option. This Monday, April 7th, we join the global academic strike—no classes, no exams, no business as usual.
