প্রতি বছর উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষার রেজাল্টের পর দেখা যায় প্রচুর ছাত্র-ছাত্রী কেবল আইসিটি বিষয়ে অন্যান্য বিষয়ের চেয়ে কম নম্বর পাচ্ছে। অন্যান্য বিষয়ে এগিয়ে থাকলেও গ্রেডিংয়ে পিছিয়ে পরতে হয় আইসিটি বিষয়ে ভালো নাম্বার না থাকার কারণে। এর সবচেয়ে বড় কারণ, অনেক শিক্ষার্থীই আইসিটি বিষয়টাকে ভালোভাবে আয়ত্ব করতে পারে না। প্রায়ই দেখা যায় কম গুরুত্বের কারণে অনেক শিক্ষার্থী শুধুমাত্র আইসিটি বিষয়ে ঝড়ে পড়ে।
