Banks will give you an umbrella…

And take it back the moment it starts to rain.

One of the biggest mistakes I see (especially from young people) is taking on debt to start a business or go to uni.

It’s a trap. And it will kill your dream.

I recently spoke to someone running a product business with small margins.

They were about to take out a bank loan to cover stock.

Instead, I told them to try speaking gigs.

They’re an inspiring person, so why not get paid to speak?

They did just that.

Now they don’t need the loan AND they get to promote their business while being paid to share their story.

That’s what I mean by being resourceful over reliant.

There’s no such thing as good debt or bad debt.

It’s just debt.

And when you’re in it…

You’re not working for yourself anymore.

You’re working for whoever you borrowed from.

They don’t teach financial literacy in school for a reason.
They want you in the system, working for them.

Don’t fall for it.

Be creative. There are always ways to make extra money…

Just because you aren’t taught them in school, doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

Listen up, Men! Never Joke with Your Source of Income—Get Money at All Costs
Let me tell you this personally: If you don’t have your money right, you’re going to suffer. The world is brutal to broke men. You don’t get sympathy, handouts, or free passes. You’re not a woman who gets free stuff just by existing.
Women are born with their value. A beautiful woman can walk into any room and instantly get attention, validation, and resources. But as a man, you have to EARN your value.
Here’s Why You Must Never Joke with Your Source of Income:
1. Respect Comes from Power, and Power Comes from Money
A broke man has no power, no authority, and no say. If you want people to respect your presence, you need money.
2. Nobody Feeds a Broke Man
If you’re down and out, nobody’s coming to save you. There are no safety nets, no sympathy, and no handouts. You’re either grinding or you’re invisible.
3. You Can’t Protect or Provide Without Resources
As a man, your value is tied to your ability to provide, protect, and lead. Without money, you’re a liability, not an asset.
4. Financial Independence Is True Freedom
Without your own income, you are a slave to your job, your boss, and even the opinions of others. Money gives you choices, freedom, and control over your own destiny.
5. Broke Men Are Easy Targets for Manipulation
A man with no money is an easy mark for manipulation. People use, discard, and disrespect broke men because they know they have no leverage.
6. Women Lose Interest Quickly in Broke Men
No matter how nice or loving you are, if you’re broke, she’s going to lose interest. Women are wired to seek security and stability—if you can’t provide that, you’re done.
7. You Have No Voice Without Resources
In this world, money talks. You can’t make moves, take risks, or have influence if you’re broke.
8. Survival Demands It
There’s no dignity in poverty. You must get money at all costs because your survival, your dignity, and your future depend on it.
Final Warning
Don’t let anyone

You will pay £50,000 for their university degree, but you won't spend one hour teaching them how to read a bank statement.
You are preparing them to earn money, not to keep it.

You pay for the maths tutor, the piano lessons, the elite sports club.
You obsess over their grades and their exam scores.
You are building the perfect employee on paper.

Here's the uncomfortable truth.
You are preparing your child for a career, but you are not preparing them for a life.

You have taught them how to get a good job, but you have taught them nothing about what to do with the money that job provides.
You have left them financially illiterate in a world that preys on financial illiteracy.

And so they will become a high-earning, broke adult.
Drowning in debt, living paycheck to paycheck, a slave to a lifestyle they can't actually afford.
They will look successful, but they will be fragile.

The most important lessons are taught at home.
Teach them about budgeting, about saving, about debt.
Give them the financial armor the school system never will.
