A scientific seminar on "Management of Abdominal Trauma" was held on 16 August 2026 at Red Chilli Chinese Restaurant, Chandpur, chaired by Dr. Md. Hasanur Rahman (Associate Professor & HOD, Surgery, ChMCH), featuring keynote presentations by Dr. Sumaiya Binta Momin and Dr. Mahmudur Rahman Asik (Intern Doctors, ChMC) on critical emergency protocols and trauma care.

অনুষ্ঠানে কলেজের শিক্ষক, চিকিৎসক ও কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীবৃন্দ নবাগত অধ্যক্ষ মহোদয়কে উষ্ণ অভ্যর্থনা ও ফুলেল শুভেচ্ছা জানান। মতবিনিময় সভায় প্রতিষ্ঠানের সার্বিক শিক্ষা কার্যক্রমের মানোন্নয়ন, ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনা এবং আধুনিক চিকিৎসা শিক্ষার প্রসারে সম্মিলিতভাবে কাজ করার প্রত্যয় ব্যক্ত করা হয়।

নতুন অধ্যক্ষ মহোদয়ের নেতৃত্বে চাঁদপুর মেডিকেল কলেজ শিক্ষা ও সেবায় আরও একধাপ এগিয়ে যাবে—এই শুভকামনা রইল।

৫ আগস্ট ‘জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থান দিবস-২০২৬’ উপলক্ষে চাঁদপুর মেডিকেল কলেজে আলোচনা সভা ও বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

অনুষ্ঠানে কলেজের শিক্ষক, কর্মকর্তা, কর্মচারী ও শিক্ষার্থীদের স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত অংশগ্রহণে জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানের ইতিহাস, গণতান্ত্রিক চেতনা এবং দেশপ্রেমের মূল্যবোধ নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়। একই সঙ্গে পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ ও সবুজ বাংলাদেশ গড়ার প্রত্যয়ে কলেজ ক্যাম্পাসে বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি পালন করা হয়।

জাতীয় গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এ দিবস পালনের মাধ্যমে শহীদদের আত্মত্যাগের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন এবং ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের মধ্যে দেশপ্রেম, দায়িত্ববোধ ও পরিবেশ সচেতনতার বার্তা ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার প্রত্যয় পুনর্ব্যক্ত করা হয়।

The Medical Education Unit & Teachers Association, Chandpur Medical College successfully organized a scientific seminar on "Cataract & Its Management Update" today.

The seminar provided an excellent platform for academic discussion, knowledge sharing, and updating participants on the latest advancements in cataract management. We extend our sincere thanks to the respected chairperson, panel experts, speakers, faculty members, and students for their active participation and valuable contributions.

An Integrated Teaching Session on Carcinoma of the Cervix (CA Cervix) was successfully organized by the Department of Pathology, Chandpur Medical College on 01.08.2025.

The session provided an excellent platform for interdisciplinary learning, helping students strengthen their understanding through an integrated academic approach. We sincerely appreciate the enthusiastic participation of all faculty members and students who contributed to making the session a success.

🩺 APB Regional Scientific Meeting in Chandpur 2026 | Successfully Held

The APB Regional Scientific Meeting in Chandpur 2026 was successfully organized by the Association of Physicians of Bangladesh (APB) in collaboration with the Chandpur Medical College Teachers' Association (ChMCTA).

The program commenced with a Welcome Speech by Dr. Md. Harun-Or-Rashid, Associate Professor of Surgery, Vice-Principal (In-Charge), Chandpur Medical College, and General Secretary, ChMCTA. The inaugural session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Shahela Nazneen, Principal, Chandpur Medical College; Head of the Department of Gynaecology & Obstetrics; and President, ChMCTA.

The scientific seminar was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Shohael Mahmud Arafat, Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, BMU; Senior Vice President, BMRC; President, APB.
